Exclusive Interview: Gagan Arora opens up on sharing screen space with the legends in Tabbar!

 The teaser of SonyLIV’s new show Tabbar is out. It features actors Pavan Malhotra, Supriya Pathak, Gagan Arora, Sahil Mehta, Paramveer Cheema, Nupur Nagpal, Ranvir Shorey, and Kanwaljit Singh in prominent roles. Recently in an exclusive interview with Cine Talkers, Gagan Arora opened up about his experience altogether. 

When asked about how excited he is for the news show, Gagan responded, “ I am very excited and it’s a pleasant change that has happened, and I was looking for something intense to do, something that lets me explore my acting skills and it’s a perfect opportunity. Amazing is the right word to explain how I am feeling right now and it’s surreal.”

When asked about the shift from being part of light-hearted `fun content to intense thriller, Gagan said I was trying to get something like this out of the box for a long time. I know that people love my fun-loving side and the genre which I pick up and I love that. But as an actor, you feel that you want to evolve and you want to do different things, and also it was a very good script to say no to. 

He also talked about working with such a mind-blowing cast, “ lottery lagayi, The cast was mind-blowing and the first two days were all about me being starstruck by my own cast, Ranvir sir, Supriya Mam. and these guys are so humble and they have helped us out at every step. Sometimes I pinch myself that an outsider middle-class boy has gotten a chance to work with such legends!

When asked about how all his loved ones and family reacted, Gagan said “Honestly they never expected this and they were amazed. He also opened up about his future projects, ‘ one of them is ‘Finding Anamiks’ which release on Netflix around Diwali.” 

Lastly in his message for all his fans, the actor said, “ You have loved me and all my characters, and this time I am trying something new and I am scared, and I would really love your support. So think about me in a different role as I am evolving as an actor. And I would love to hear from you about my performance in the show.”
