Since the development of OTT platforms, moviegoers all over the world have been in for a treat. Some of the most fantastic plots, brilliant performances, and never-before-seen concepts have been seen in the past year. Now that we’re getting ready to enter 2022, we’re naturally reflecting on these amazing projects.
While we could go on and on with our selection, we’ve narrowed it down to the top four performances of 2021. Don’t forget to watch these OTT series/films before the new year begins.
1) Manoj Bajpayee in The Family Man 2
For all the right reasons, The Family Man 2 was one of the most eagerly anticipated shows. With his portrayal of Srikant Tiwari, veteran actor Manoj Bajpayee controlled the OTT space. Everyone was impressed by the actor’s range when he switched from an action scene to a sensitive scene!
2) Prateik Babbar in Hiccups & Hookups:
Hiccups & Hookups, the most recently released series, is one of the year’s most amusing shows. With his new inning, Prateik Babbar provided the audience with a modern-day drama about romance, courting, and more! While we enjoyed his casual playing, we were moved by the tragic situations.
3) Adarsh Gourav in The White Tiger
The White Tiger, without a doubt, caused a commotion around the world. Adarsh Gourav, who plays the lead in the film, has received widespread appreciation for his on-screen honesty. While earning a name for himself with his performance, the newcomer was nominated for a BAFTA this year.
4) Vijay Varma in OK Computer
OK Computer is one of India’s most ambitious television series. As Cyber Crime Detective, Vijay Varma rendered the futuristic scenario of a robot rebellion believable and authentic on television. The actor didn’t let his character’s wit go away, and he became a driving force behind one of the most gripping stories.
