Andaz Apna Apna to re release in cinemas on April 25

The announcement of the re-release of Andaz Apna Apna (1994) has sparked considerable excitement among fans. With its dedicated following and the star power of Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, audiences are eager to see the duo in their beloved comic roles on the big screen once again. To commemorate the film’s 30th anniversary in November 2024, the family of the late producer Vinay Sinha revealed plans for the re-release in the summer of 2025. Now, it’s official: the film is set to hit theatres on April 25.

In an interview with The Times of India, Vinay Sinha’s children—Namrata, Priti Sinha, and Amod Sinha—announced the release date and shared their enthusiasm regarding recent comments from Salman and Aamir about a potential sequel. They stated, “Recently, Aamir bhai mentioned that both he and Salman sir are keen on doing the Andaz Apna Apna sequel. We are thrilled by their excitement, and we plan to begin discussions with them right after the re-release of Andaz Apna Apna on April 25.

”They also noted, “Talks with Rajkumar Santoshi have been ongoing for years, including during our father’s lifetime. However, nothing concrete has been finalized with him yet. We will make an official announcement as soon as discussions with the actors and director are complete and a solid script is locked.”The original Andaz Apna Apna also featured Raveena Tandon, Karisma Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Shakti Kapoor, and others. Fans can look forward to the re-release trailer, which will drop tomorrow, April 1.

With Andaz Apna Apna set to release on April 25, it will face competition from Emraan Hashmi’s intense action thriller, Ground Zero, produced by Excel Entertainment. Additionally, another significant release on the same day is Ne Zha 2, a Chinese film that has shattered records, grossing $2 billion in its home market alone. Given its success in non-Chinese territories, there are high hopes for its performance in India as well.
