Ananya Pandey accepts she kept a ‘Secret’ from her BFF Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor
Bollywood is all ready to be stormed by the next generation. Yes! After Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Pandey is all set to join the league. She is making her debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2. Exciting isn’t it?
Well, Bollywood makes you do a lot of things. In an interview, the young actor accepted that she did not share her big news with her bffs besties Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor after signing her first film. “I didn’t tell them about SOTY 2 for a long time because I didn’t want to disappoint them in case it didn’t work out. They are always posting my links and speaking to people about me.” It was a really big deal for her. She also revealed that she is eagerly waiting for Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor to join Bollywood. “This is our collective dream, I’m waiting for them to come into films too.” It would be exciting to watch this girl gang together on the silver screen.
Talking about what inspired her to join Bollywood, she shared that the Student of the Year back in 2012 made her realize the Bollywood dream. “I was 14 or 15 and remember accompanying my parents to a screening. I wasn’t allowed in because it was an 11 pm show. I begged mom to let me in and sat on the floor because there were no seats available. When I saw Alia as Shanaya, I knew this was what I wanted to do too. It was a surreal feeling. I wanted the Dharma theme song to play at the start of my film too.”
Well, now, in reality, she is realizing her dream. She is very excited about the movie and waiting for it. She is romancing Tiger Shroff and the movie will the theatres on 10th May 2019.
