Masaba Gupta is a fashion designer and the daughter of Indian actress Neena Gupta & West Indies cricketer Sir Viv Richards. She worked on very big platforms, as she was Judge in popular T.V show “MTV Supermodel of the year” in 2019. Knowing about her past, Gupta collaborated with Maybelline New York in 2016 at which she produce a collection of clothes by getting inspired by a new lipstick line that the company was launching. She also represented India by re – designing Levi’s iconic Trucker Jacket with her signature cow motif in 2017.
Masaba Masaba’s launch was announced by Netflix starring Masaba Gupta and her mother Neena Gupta in 2019. The idea of this biopic web series was introduced by Sonam Nair as the director & writter of this series. This series is produced by Ashvini Yardi from her own production house named, Viniyard films. Masaba Gupta & Neena Gupta are having leading role as mother and daughter duo playing fictionalized version of their own real life characters. While the additional roles in the series include Satyadeep Mishra, Rytasha Rathore, Neil Bhoopalam, Suchitra Pillai, Smaran Sahu, Tanuj Virwani, Gajraj Rao and Shibani Dandekar.
Talking more about the series, it is based on the real life of Masaba Gupta focusing on her personal and professional life. In this series we will also see Kiara Advani doing a cameo. The trailer of these series was recently launched on social media by the makers, which is having a great response.
