Ali and Ranbir win the best actors award at the 64th Filmfare Awards. Find out more on the winners squad

This year the Filmfare Awards was a perfect place for all kinds of Bollywood appearances. Right from the complete fun to the exquisite Bollywood attires, there was absolutely everything that convinces the Red Carpet show to be a blockbuster this year. Hosted by the king khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkummar Rao, the show was a bit hit.

Coming to the winning squads, Ali Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor won the best actors award for this year’s Filmfare awards show. The best places bagged by the films included the blockbuster of last year including Raazi, Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho.

Soon after winning the best actor award, Alia couldn’t keep herself from an overwhelming expression, mentioning, ““Meghna for me Raazi is you, your blood and sweat. You are my main chick. Vicky without you, the film wouldn’t be complete. Thank you my mentor Karan for being my mentor, father and my fashion police. Tonight’s all about love there my special one, I love you (Ranbir Kapoor).” The best actor award was bagged by Ranbir Kapoor for the movie Sanju.

Ranveer Singh won the critics best actor award at the Filmfare for his extraordinary performance in Padmavat after which he was all down on his knees for wife Deepika as she handed him the winning trophy. The female counter part for the same category was won by Neena Gupta for Badhaai Ho.

Raazi got two major awards that included Meghna Gulzar for best direction and best film however, Andhadhun got the critics best film award.

The other awards list from the Filmfare awards continued awarding, Best Actor in A Supporting Role (Male) to Gajraj Rao for ‘Badhaai Ho’ along with Vicky Kaushal for ‘Sanju’. Best Actor in A Supporting Role (Female) to Surekha Sikhri for ‘Badhaai Ho’, Best Screenplay to Sriram Raghavan, Arijit Biswas, Pooja Ladha Surti, Yogesh Chandekar, Hemanth Rao for ‘Andhadhun’, Best Dialogue: Akshat Ghildial for ‘Badhaai Ho’, Best Original Story: Anubhav Sinha for ‘Mulk’, Best Debut Actor (Male): Ishaan Khatter, Best Debut Actor (Female): Sara Ali Khan and Best Debut Director: Amar Kaushik for ‘Stree’.
