Ekta Kapoor remembers Sushma Swaraj as her first teacher

Ekta Kapoor stood amongst the several other celebrities who mourned the sudden demise of the former External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj. She passed away in Delhi on 6 August after suffering from a sudden cardiac arrest. The minister was brought to the hospital however, she couldn’t survive. Ekta took onto her Twitter handle to pay tribute to Swaraj mentioning, that the former Foreign minister had taught her her first lesson of life- women should help women grow.

Recalling how Swaraj had shaped her mindset during her youth times, she tweeted, “In my younger years, I got so much support from Sushma ji! I still have pictures with her giving me my first award all over my office! Gutted sad at the loss of a lady who taught me my first lesson. Women should help women grow! Thank you and R.I.P. Sushma ji.”

Sushma Swarak was amongst few of the bold leaders and the best Foreign Minister of India till date who had taken a number of strong steps to build the integrity of our country amongst the big bulls on a global scale. She has remained to be an up-scaled leader on a global scale.

Several Bollywood celebrities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Anurag Kashyap and Shabana Azmi also remembered her huge contribution as the Union minister and shared their condolence on her death on their social media handles. Earlier, the Bigg Boss 12 contestant Karanvir Bohra also recollected on how Swaraj had helped him secure a temporary passport when he was detained by government authorities at Moscow in January.

Ekta is currently busy working on a number of web series and films under her production house ALTBalaji.
