Controversies go hand in hand with Ekta Kapoor as always. Now, the film and TV producer is back in the news for facing a police complaint in Mumbai for her next web series. Earlier, she faced similar things in North India when an activist filed a case against the lady for allegedly disrespecting the Indian Army’s uniform as she showed the character of a lady who happens to be the wife of a Jawan having an illegitimate relationship with other men. This time, the complaint has come from the former Bigg Boss contestant Vikas Pathak.
Pathak is also known as Hindustani Bhau, who seems to have knocked the magistrate’s court in suburban Bandra this Tuesday. As per reports, the hearing will be on 24th August when Pathak will be coming up with his lawyer Kashif Khan informing the latter. Talking about the same Khan said his client has filed a complaint against Ekta at a local police station. Since no action has been taken against the lady, hence they have moved now to the court, claimed the lawyer.
The same is similar to the one filed against the lady for showing the Indian Army jawans and their families in bad light lodged in May. The lawyer said since the lady seemed to have crossed all limits without any shame targeting the pride and dignity of India and its prestigious institutions like Indian Army, his client was compelled to take the matter to the Bandra Court. The series has showcased illicit sexual acts with the man in the Indian Army dress having the country’s emblem in it. The case was filed against Ekta, and her parents along with her OTT platform ALTBalaji.
