Ekta Kapoor cleverly mocks Karan Johar after her XXX series was targetted

Ekta Kapoor received heavy criticism from the Supreme Court last month due to offensive content in her web series XXX that streams on Alt Balaji. TV’s biggest producer was accused by the court of contaminating the minds of Indian teenagers. After tolerating this matter for quite some time, the Lock Up producer has finally spoken about this matter.

The Television Queen, who has also dominated digital platforms, went online on Instagram to share a mysterious post captioned, “TUM KARO TOH LUST STORIES AUR HUM KAREIN TOH GANDI BAAT #Hypocracy.”

She didn’t mention any specific person or production firm in her post. However, many users on the internet think that she cleverly mocked filmmaker Karan Johar, the director of the Lust Stories collection.

Freedom of choice for Ekta Kapoor?

While the court chastised Ekta Kapoor for her show XXX and the dirty adult content she produces for the audience, her lawyer shared a report that an apex court had assured the producer of security. Also, she has complete control over this matter owing to the freedom of choice in our nation. He also pointed out that the content can be watched only by subscribers.

Season 2 of her XXX web series was also in trouble when an ex-serviceman named Shanbhu Kumar filed a complaint. He stated that her series had much offensive content and also degraded the honour of soldiers.

Besides movies, TV shows, and web series, Ekta also produced an OTT reality show, Lock Up. The Manikarnika actress Kangana Ranaut hosted her reality show, in which comedian Munawar Faruqui emerged as the winner.
