Dum Laga Ke Haisha is a forthcoming Bollywood comedy movie and drama which is set to be released this February, 2015, the dates of which are yet to be finalized. Sharat Katariya is its screenwriter and director. He is said to have worked as wrier and assistant director for Bheja Fry series, the popular Bollywood movie that did get good reviews from critics. Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma are its producers, under Yash Raj Films banner.
The lead role is to be played by Ayushmann Khurrana in this movie. His co-actor is to be Bhumi Pednekar, who is seen as the new entrant into Bollywood along with Vidushi Mehra, having played several small Bollywood roles in ‘No One Killed Jessica’, ‘Aisha’, ‘Bajaata Raho’ and ‘Saath Khoon Maaf’. Vidushi is said to play a vital role in the movie.
Ayushmann Khurana has shown his talents and skills in TV as well as in previous movies. He had gained immense popularity from MTV Roadies, where he emerged second winner and also is stated to be a nice guitarist and playback singer. It was through the popular movie of 2012, Vicky Donor that he has made his Bollywood debut through Shoojit Sircar comedy and romantic direction. He had played his role very well that of a sperm donor. Also in this movie, he had sung ‘Pani Da Rang’ which was a real chart buster, for which he was given the Filmfare awards for the best playback singer. With such talents, audience can expect his forthcoming movie “Dum Laga Ke Haisha” to be a movie that is full of entertainment and nothing short of it. Moreover, one can expect Ayushmann to sing a romantic song for the move. The story is about a young actor who has the ability to play challenging roles. Kumar Shanu, one of the greatest singers, is expected to do a cameo.
