Drishyam The Conclusion Trailer Cleared by CBFC with U/A 16+ Rating; Makers Return to Goa for Star-Studded Trailer Launch
With exactly one month remaining before the theatrical release of Drishyam The Conclusion, anticipation is building among fans. Following the recent release of character posters, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has officially cleared the film’s theatrical trailer. The promo, running at 2 minutes and 52 seconds, was granted a U/A 16+ rating on September 1.
The makers plan to launch the trailer with a high-profile event in Goa, mirroring the promotional strategy used for Drishyam 2 in 2022. The primary star cast is expected to attend the launch event scheduled for September 8 or September 9.
Ajay Devgn reprises his lead role as Vijay Salgaonkar alongside returning cast members Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Kamlesh Sawant, Ishita Dutta, and Mrunal Jadhav. In this final chapter, Tabu’s character, Meera Deshmukh, turns her pursuit of justice into a personal quest for revenge over the loss of her son, while Rajat Kapoor returns as Mahesh Deshmukh.
The franchise also introduces new characters to its ensemble cast. Jaideep Ahlawat joins as Rajveer Singh Tomar, an SP in the Crime Branch, while Prakash Raj enters as Lawyer Indrajith Shetty, adding further legal and tactical challenges for the Salgaonkar family.
Presented by Star Studio18 and produced under the Panorama Studios banner, Drishyam The Conclusion is directed by Abhishek Pathak. The screenplay is co-written by Pathak, Aamil Keeyan Khan, and Parveez Shaikh, with Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak serving as producers. The crime thriller is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release on October 2, 2026.
