Drishyam First Day Opening Collection
This Friday, you have a solo release, which comes in the form of Drishyam. It is a remake of a south Indian movie with the same title featuring Ajay Devgn along with Tabu seemed to be noticed with a light buzz in the media. As per reports, the movie started with a slow note in the morning and afternoon shows with occupancy report going up to 18 percent. However, in the evening shows, there was some improvement yet it cannot be called as significant one with occupancy reaching to 40 percent in some places, while others recorded low as 25 to 30 percent.
As per reports, the number of screens in which the movie was release can be called as tangible, which is around 2365. This is a decent number of screens, which can help in earning a good collection at the end of the day. However, this was not the case and the film drowned down. All thanks to the naive act of Ajay Devgn who seemed really bad in the film. Despite Tabu doing a wonderful job as a cop in the film, she failed to rescue the film to get a good opening on the first day. As per reports, the first day box office collection for Drishyam tolled to around 3.25 crores. The experts do not have much hope from the film in its first weekend.
