Drishyam 2 trailer: Ajay Devgn aka Vijay Salgaonkars case reopens; Will the past haunt the family again!
The makers have finally dropped the much-awaited trailer of Drishyam 2. Ajay Devgn will reprise his role as Vijay Salgaonkar, one of his most popular roles. On October 17, the teaser for the thriller, which also stars Akshaye Khanna and Tabu, was out. Directed by Abhishek Pathak Drishyam 2 will be released in theatres on November 18, 2022.
The trailer shows that even after seven years of the incident the Salgaonkars are again haunted by their past. The fascinating trailer left viewers wanting more. “A sequence of unforeseen occurrences bring to light a reality that threatens to disrupt everything for the Salgaonkars 7 years after the case against Vijay Salgaonkar and his family was closed. Can Vijay save his family again? (sp),” examine the caption.
The trailer begins with Ajay Devgn’s character Vijay Salgaonkar stating that his family is still being pursued by Sam’s missing seven years later. The investigation appears to be ongoing. The trailer also introduces the new investigating officer Akshaye Khanna, who is on the hunt for Vijay’s lie. But they all confront the same problem: proof. Tabu, Sam’s mother and former IG, arrives, vowing never to overlook this ‘fourth-fail anpadh’ again.
The Hindi version, starring Ajay, was a replica of the 2013 Malayalam film of the same name, which starred Mohanlal.
2015 released film ‘Drishyam,’ was a huge hit and Ajay’s character Vijay convinced everyone that their family had gone on vacation, which turned out to be a brilliant plot to spare his family from a murder conviction. In the sequel, Ajay will reprise one of his most interesting roles and continue in Vijay’s shoes. The plot unfolds a trip that leaves the spectator wondering what his way out could be this time.
