The movie has Sonam Kapoor in the lead role along with an array of three young and talented actors like Rajkumar Rao, Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma. The film started with a slow pace with occupancy rate reaching to around 15 to 20 percent, which seems to be decent for the film. However, it remained the same in the afternoon and evening as well with a bit of increase in the occupancy rates. Considering the rich content based movie of Akshay Kumar called Baby, the collection at the box office for Dolly Ki Doli seems to have gone down.
Also, the reviews for the movie Dolly Ki Doli seems to be average by most of the filmmakers, thanks to an average performance of Sonam Kapoor, while others remained decent still failed to attract crowd towards the film. The movie is seen in around 1800 screens all across the country, which made the figure decent at the end of the first day. As per reports, the first day box office collection for Dolly Ki Doli tolled to around 2 crores, which is indeed not a decent figure. May be the mixed review and average performances of the lead actress. Don’t forget the fierce competition of Baby, which made the difference. As per experts, the movie is not likely to do an exceptional business may be we can expect a decent collection as its first weekend collection, which happens to be extended by one day.
