Karan Patel is an Indian television actor who is best known for his role as Raman Bhalla in the popular soap opera Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. He has also appeared in other shows such as Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Kkavyanjali. Patel was born on 23 November 1983 in Kolkata to Gujarati parents. He moved to India when he was two years old and grew up in Mumbai. Patel is a Hindu and speaks Gujarati, Hindi, and English. He is married to Ankita Bhargava, who is also an actor.
Patel’s career began in 2004 when he appeared in the television show Kasautii Zindagii Kay. He went on to play the lead role in Kkavyanjali from 2005 to 2006. Patel’s breakthrough role came in 2013 when he was cast as Raman Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The show was a huge success and made Patel a household name. He has appeared in over 600 episodes of the show. Patel has also appeared in a few films, such as Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein (2002) and Ek Paheli Leela (2015).
