Anikha Surendran is a child actress from South Indian films and TV. She was born Manjeri, Malappuram, Kerala. She has done her schooling The Choice School in Kerala. She has reached into her teens and has been known to act in Tamil and Malayalam movies. She started her journey in films in 2010 working as a child actor. Her first Malayalam film was Kadha Thudarunnu where she played the character Laya. The other Malayalam movies include Four Friends, Race, Bavuttiyude Namathil, 5 Sundarikal, Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, Nayana, Onnum Mindathe, Yennai Arindhaal, Bhaskar The Rascal, Naanum Rowdydhaan, and Miruthan to name a few.

She did her debut in Tamil films with Yennai Arindhaal playing the character called Isha. Some of her recent Malayalam movies include The Great Father, Geetha Govindam, and Johny Johny Yes Appa. Her upcoming movie is Viswasam and it is releasing in Pongal 2019. She has played the role of Swetha in it. Besides, she has also done a few short movies which include Amaranth (Malayalam) which was aired in Surya TV, this was followed by a Tamil film called MAA where she played the character called Ammu. Her recent short film includes Colours of light released this year.

Now, talking about awards, she has bagged a few for the category of Best Child Artists. These include the 20th Asianet Film Awards 2018 and Vayalar Award 2017. She also bagged the 11th Ramu Karyat Award 2015 for the same category along with getting the prestigious Kerala State Film Awards in 2013 and the 13th Asianet Film Awards in 2010 for the same category. She is too young to be in any relationship so she is single and has now reached into her late teens but not dating anyone. She is currently focusing on her career and aspires to be an established actress in South India, and maybe later she would like to try her luck in Bollywood as well.
