Dilwale though failed to open with a bang unlike previous films of Shah Rukh Khan for obvious reasons yet managed to secure a decent amount of collect at the end of the first weekend. The release of Bajirao Mastani has hampered the collection of Dilwale to some extent unlike any other Khan’s film at the box office, yet it has surpassed its rival film releasing the same day leading in a big way. In fact, the film has also done a decent business worldwide with collection 121 crores in total, which is really a good amount of collection for SRK starrer film in comparison to the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film – Bajirao Mastani.
Checking at the collection of three days, the film managed to secure around 21 crores on the opening day, while the other day it scored on similar likes reaching to 20.40 crores, while on Sunday, it zoomed up with a collection of 24 crores. Thus with the addition of these three figures, the film managed to score a decent figure over the box office. The first weekend box office collection of 1st weekend tolled to around 65.40, which is really a good collection.
So, if you look at Dilwale, the film has emerged out as the best grocer in overseas marker, which includes the countries like Australia, UK, US, Middle East and even in Pakistan. Thanks to the sizzling couple of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol who are back on the screen after six long years to give another hit film. Had Dilwale been a solo release, the film could had become the top grosser in India as well. Anyway, its still doing better.
