After a much hue and cry over the clash of Dilwale & Bajirao Mastani, both the film after the first weekend managed to give a decent business at the end of the day. Though Bajirao Mastani seemed losing its collection to the Shah Rukh Khan starrer film Dilwale. On the other side, Bajirao Mastani remained meagre but consistent in the three days to score the same amount of collections on each day of the first weekend.
As per reports, the first weekend box office report tolled to around 46.30 crores, which unfolded in the way like 12.10 crores, the next day it was 14.52 and lastly on Sunday it tolled to 18.20. Thus the collection went steady increasing it collection with every passing day. However, the collection during the weekdays would likely to fall in the coming days with some amount of boost in the coming weekend considering the Christmas holidays.
However, when you compare Bajirao Mastani with Dilwale, the collection of the latter is likely to do better over the box office. After all the magical Jodi of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol has always ruled the box office business in the past with so many movies and the current one releasing this Christmas is certainly no exception.
