Anupamaa aka Rupali Ganguly’s fans make her wish of ‘Feed Stray Animals’ true on her bday
Rupali Ganguly, a well-known television actress, is known for her outstanding performance as Anupamaa, who is as sweet and generous in real life as she is on screen. The actress celebrated her one-year birthday yesterday and launched the ‘Say No to Gifts, Feed a Stray’ initiative, giving her stray-care cause a new focus.
Rupali has a reputation for feeding stray animals and caring for them as best she can. During an Instagram Live a few weeks ago, the actress begged her admirers to feed a stray dog instead of sending her gifts. Meanwhile, her fans stepped up their support for her.
A group of fans fed 3000 stray dogs and 200 cows, as well as organising a cake-cutting and snack-distribution event for poor children. Fans are seen spreading food in a tweet that has gone popular on social media.
A fan club posted a video where they are cooking the meals for the animals and wrote, “We would love to wish Ms. Rupali Ganguly a very Happy Birthday! As everyone already knows she’s a great champion of stray dogs and is known for her kind and compassionate ways! Today on the occasion of her birthday her fans organized , 3000 Meals for Dogs , food for 200 Cows ….”

Rupali Ganguly has been a trailblazer in the fight against stray animals. Her efforts have made a difference in the lives of many street animals who are neglected. I must say, this is a commendable initiative!
