According to a report in Deadline, the Hollywood sequel Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come opened to $9 million, which was considered underwhelming given its impressive star cast, including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood, and Kathryn Newton. On the other hand, Dhurandhar The Revenge collected a massive $10.5 million, further showcasing its global appeal and craze.The success of Dhurandhar The Revenge was expected, given the phenomenal response to its first installment, which was released in December 2025. However, its ability to outperform a major Hollywood production in foreign markets highlights Bollywood’s growing influence on a global scale.

Bahar Cinema Hosts Exclusive Morning Shows for Dhurandhar 2

Back in Mumbai, fans of Dhurandhar The Revenge were treated to a rare spectacle, as the iconic Bahar Cinema in Vile Parle East made a historic exception to its operational rules. Typically only allowed to hold shows after 5:00 pm due to local regulations, Bahar Cinema hosted four exclusive screenings of the film on Sunday, March 22, at 8:00 am, 12:30 pm, 5:00 pm, and 9:30 pm—a first for the theatre since it began operations in November 2010.An exhibition source revealed, “The demand for Dhurandhar The Revenge was so high that Bahar Cinema made an exception to its usual schedule. It’s unprecedented for the cinema hall.”

Record-Breaking Screenings Across Mumbai

The craze for Dhurandhar The Revenge didn’t stop there. Other cinemas across Mumbai joined the frenzy, offering post-midnight and early morning shows to cater to the overwhelming demand. For instance:

  • Kasturba Cinema in Maladhosted a 2:30 am show on Sunday.
  • Woodland Cinemas in Virarorganized a 7:45 am screening for eager fans.

Both screenings were nearly sold out, proving that the film has captured the hearts of audiences like never before.
