This teaser will premiere alongside Border 2 in cinemas nationwide starting January 23, 2026.
According to a source speaking to the popular Btown portal called Bollywood Hungama, the goal is to firmly imprint the Dhurandhar 2 release date in the minds of moviegoers. The sequel is officially set for an Eid 2026 release, and the teaser will feature fresh visuals to reinforce this date.
Both Dhurandhar and Border appeal to similar audiences, focusing on patriotic themes. A source close to Bollywood Hungama explained that this pairing sends a direct message to viewers, encouraging them to revisit theaters on Eid, March 19, 2026. Jio Studios aims to capitalize on the growing wave of nationalistic cinema, leveraging the patriotic fervor these films generate. After its theatrical debut, the newly cut teaser will also be released digitally, but for now, it remains a big-screen exclusive.
The release of Dhurandhar 2 is set to clash with the Ranveer Singh-starrer Toxic, marking a high-stakes box office battle.
