The eleventh season of India’s most popular and highly loved quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati gave birth to a yet another nail-biting episode on Tuesday. The nineteen-year-old trainee commercial pilot, Himanshu Dhuria lost his chance to take home Rs 1 crore from the show, which has been continuously hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.
Himanshu chose to quit the show with Rs 50 lakh in hand. He was asked the Rs 1 crore question, which bore a direct link to the ace filmmaker Karan Johar’s upcoming mega directorial, Takht.
The question asked to Himanshu was about the Mughal ruler Dara Shikoh. The question precisely read, “Whose Persian translation of several Upanishads is known as the ‘Sirr-e-Akbar’.” The options provided were- Abul Fazal, Shah Wallulah Dehlvi, Dara Shikoh and Ahmad al-Sirhindi.

As learnt, Sirr-e-Akbar means The Greatest Mystery. Dara Shikoh was the eldest son and heir-apparent of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and the brother of Aurangzeb. He was connected with translating various Upanishads from Sanskrit to Persian in 1657 in order to make them readable by the Muslim scholars.
Later on this account, Karan Johar tweeted the image of the Rs 1 crore question and claimed that he knew the answer to it. Further adding to the same, he also mentioned that Ranveer Singh would know the answer, too. As known, his forthcoming film Takht is based on a fight that was battled to finish for the Mughal throne and stars popular faces including- Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Anil Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor.

As per reports, Takht holds its roots from the Mughal empire and revolve around “an epic battle for the Majestic Mughal throne”. Similar to most of the Dharma Productions deliveries, the film is supposed to be a dramatic story about family, love, succession and how ambitions and greed will change the dynamics of relationships.
