Irrfan Khan Loses his Battle of Life at 53 due to Colon Infection
Just when the actor Irrfan Khan was getting hospitalised for Colon Infection at Kokilaben Hospital, we now hear the sad news that he had passed away. The actor was 53, confirmed the official statement from the hospital. Irrfan Khan was admitted yesterday for the said infection and was in the Hospital’s ICU. He is survived by his wife Sutapa Sikder and sons Ayan and Babil.
As he loses his battle, we still remember his message he shared on social media where he said that he surrendered to the ailment while sharing about his ailment in 2018. This was when the actor was diagnosed with the rare kind of tumor in his brain and was suffering from it. He got the treatment in London staying for not less than a year over there. This has even kept his film Angrezi Medium on hold. While confirming this news, his friend Shoojit Sirchar who gave the film Piku with the actor confirmed this news.

The actor has been known as a man with few words and has given some of the best films in B Town for which he will be remembered for long. It is shocking to lose an actor like him. It seems he could not bear the news of his mother’s death this Saturday which he was not able to attend due to the lockdown.
