Manike from Thank God: Nora Fatehi’s seductive dance moves make Sidharth awestruck

The first song from Sidharth Malhotra’s upcoming movie ‘Thank God’ was released on Friday morning. The song Manike is a remake of the popular Sinhala song first performed by Yohani, who also lends her vocals here. Nora Fatehi performs a sensuous dance in the video as she tries to seduce a befuddled Sidharth Malhotra. Fans applauded the performers’ connection as well as Yohani’s voice.

The actor who plays Chitragupt in the movie, Ajay Devgn, introduces the video by explaining how lust is a problem that affects all men, not only Sidharth’s character. He makes a magical motion with his fingers, and Nora, the embodiment of that lust, emerges. Then Chitragupt tells Sidharth to restrain his desires.

While Sidharth looks at Nora in awe, the dancer puts on a sensual and seductive performance for him, captivating and seducing him. Sidharth appears to give in at first and fall head over heels for Nora. What follows is an acrobatic dance routine in which the two demonstrate their outstanding talents while Ajay’s character looks on mischievously.

Manike Mage Hithe is a Sinhala song recorded by Sri Lankan artist Yohani that was released in 2020. It went viral earlier this year, sparking this recreation. Rashmi Virag and Dulan ARX wrote the Hindi version, which includes some of the original Sinhala lyrics. Jubin Nautiyal and Surya Ragunnathan back up Yohani’s voice. Tanishk Bagchi recreated the Hindi version of the song, which was originally composed by Chamath Sangeeth.

Rakul Preet Singh also appears as Sidharth’s cop wife in Thank God. Sidharth’s character meets Chitragupt, the Hindu deity, after his death in the film. He is then shown a record of his actions during his lifetime. The film, which is set to be released on October 25, has fallen into legal difficulty, with a case filed in a Jaunpur court against the performers and director Indra Kumar for allegedly hurting the religious emotions of the Kayastha group.
