Barun Sobti happens to be a popular TV actor who has just entered into Bollywood with a movie called Main Aur Mr. Riight with Shenaz Treasurywala. He hails from Keerti Nagar of New Delhi wherein he was born and brought up. He went to Meera Bagh for his schooling and later went to do his college. After his college, he worked with Jindal Telecom for around seven years. Sobti then moved to Bombay in order to pursue his dreams to become an actor after his friend Karan Wahi had forwarded his photographs to a couple of production companies. He was soon offered some low budget projects, which he denied till he got the best. He is married to Pashmeen Manchanda way back in 2010.
He made his debut in the world of acting with a daily faith based show called Shraddha wherein he was seen in the male lead called Swayam Khurana, who happens to be a manipulating photographer having selfish ends. Later, he was seen in a cameo in a medical romance movie called Dill Mill Gayee wherein he had the negative role to play of a patient called Raj Singh, who happens to be a rehabilitation for drug abuse. He then left the serial to join another called Baat Hamari Pakki Hai wherein he played the character of a comic character called Shravan Jaiswal, who happens to be a rich and spoilt fellow, however, is also a nice and good natured fellow.
Barun Sobti then headed to another TV serial called ss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, which soon turned out to be a popular show over Star Plus. He played the character of Arnav Singh Raizada, who happens to be an egoist and proud businessman. The show had to close down owing to his exit in November 2012. He also hosted a couple of TV shows like Star Parivaar Awards Function in 2012 and caught the Star Parivaar Live Concert 2012 in Birmingham, the United Kingdom. In 2013, he was ranked in the third position under the nookyiest Asian Man by a UK based magazine called Eastern Eye.
Meanwhile doing a number of TV shows and serials, he was offered a movie called Main Aur Mr. Riight in opposite Shenaz, wherein he played the character of a struggling actor who is picked by the character of Shenaz to groom him in order to make him Mr. Right. The movie got an average rating, however, his performance in the movie was appreciated by one and all. His upcoming movies include 22 Yards, which is basically a sports generic movie whom he would be playing in opposite to Suzanna Mukherji, while his other project is Satra Ko Shaadi Hai, which is produced by Bollywood hunk called John Abraham.
