This Friday, we have the most awaited movies in the B Town called Dhadak the screens the last weekend and talking about the way the film has performed, it has simply stunned many. The film features Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter who did their debut with it in the B Town thus getting a good launch pad for the actors. The film opened at the box office at a good note scoring 8.71 core, which was beyond the expectations and went on beating the record of Karan Johar’s film – Student of The Year’s first-day collection. The collection escalated in the first weekend giving a decent figure at the box office in a big way, which Karan Johar and others have never expected.
Karan Johar who is known to have nourished and mentored a number of star kids in B Town and with this film we knew who’s kids have been brought forth for. The film scored well on Saturday getting a collection of around 11.04 crore and on Sunday the movie went on to give the collection of around 12.50 crore giving a decent figure for sure. As per the reports, the first-weekend box office collection is 32.25 crore, which is exceptionally a good movie, which is certainly a decent figure to consider in the first three days of the movie.
Now, looking forward, the film is apparently going the collection yet will still end up giving a decent collection giving on an average of 3-4 crore till the coming Friday. Thus after the end of the first week of the film, one can for sure will be able to collect around 50 crore. The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan, while Dadak happens to be the remake of Marathi blockbuster film called Sairat. The film had decent ratings that helped the film to garner a good collection at the box office. One may not find the film to score much; however, the lifetime collection for the film would range in between 80 to 100 crores, which means both Ishan and Jahnvi had a decent film to open their innings in B Town.
