Devika Serial on Star Ustav is based on the life of a girl who is God believing and very pious but not in the traditional way. Devika is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. It comes from the house of Balaji Telefilms production. The serial will be aired in March 2017 on Star Plus. It will be a daily soaped aired in the prime slot on the channel. The show will have fresh faces Aparna Dixit and Krip Suri in the lead roles. The title role of Devika will be played by Aparna Dixit.
The story revolves around the character of Devika who is a traditional girl aspiring to do great in her career by studying hard and working to make her dreams come true. Devika is not encouraged by her family and wants her to quit studies and get married. Devika is torn between the two worlds. But she stands out from other girls as she has strong belief in her God who will sail her through. Devika believes ardently that God will help her get through problems.
Soon a boy will enter Devika’s life and create a change in her life for good. Krip Suri will be portraying the role of Ravi Grewal. The lead actors have a sizzling and adorable chemistry between themselves which is depicted in the promotional posters and events. The other members of the leading stars include Dolly Sohi, Seema Mishra, Mahesh Shetty, Alka Amin, Aditya Bakshi among others.
