The most prestigious Film Festival in the world has come to an end now. Cannes Film Festival – a platform that celebrates the convergence of many cultures, personalities, and the craft of extraordinary filmmaking – is also the yearly focal point for eye-catching fashion statements. This year saw the first physical presence of many celebrities from across the world, who travelled to the French Riviera to celebrate their mutual love of cinema and storytelling.

Lots of Indian celebrities dressed to impress as they represented India at the world’s most prestigious film festival. As a token of appreciation for her 75th year of independence, India was named “Country of Honour” during the event this year. While Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s timeless presence at Cannes quickly went viral, Deepika Padukone had all eyes on her when she attended the event as a recognized Jury member. Aside from that, Pooja Hegde and Tamannaah Bhatia arrived in magnificent finery, leaving everyone pleased with their statuesque appearance as Indian ambassadors.

Her vintage outfit was much praised since it projected a luxurious vibe and was appropriate for the opening event, which Deepika attended as a jury member. The whole saree was covered in hand-embroidered and block-printed stripes that looked stunning against the gold and black colour scheme. The splendour designed by Indian designer Gaura Gupta for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be remembered from this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

This architectural aesthetic, symbolic of birth and optimism, was inspired by the notion of “The Venus.” Her gown had the intricate craftsmanship that Gaurav Gupta designs are known for. The gown, which was in a calming blush pink colour, featured a mermaid-like design and a towering shell-shaped structure on the back, which contributed to the Venus-inspired plot. The gown was further embellished with magnificent sequins and beads, as well as a dramatic floor-sweeping trail. She chose stud ear-cuffs, winged liner, glossy pink lips, and a flush of colour for her cheekbones to complement her sculpted gown.

Hina Khan’s gilded gown by the Frntal and immaculate makeup have lit up the internet. She wore an icy blue satin bodycon gown with a high slit. It has a deep neckline with embellishment detailing and studs. It’s a full-sleeve gown with a fantastic fit that emphasizes her contours. She is accessorized with studded earrings and a tight bun.
