Deepika Padukone becomes an Entrepreneur invests in Epigamia


The B Town actress Deepika Padukone has come a long way, right from carving niche hard at the box office with her successful movies, she is also a businesswoman in making. After embarking with her debut production venture – Chapaak the biopic on an acid survivor, she is now heard of investing in the top brand Drum Foods International Pvt Ltd, which happens to be the maker of a flavored yogurt brand called Epigamia.

This will be her strategic partnership, which will be going to help her endorse the brand. The said investment will also help in promoting and expanding upon with the new products and then enter into the new cities informed a press statement of the company. The investment happens to be an extension of the recently shut down Series C led by a Belgium based company called Verlinvest and Danone Manifesto Ventures. It remains the leading companies of food and beverage companies informed the statement.

The brand was launched in 2015 and it has embarked with a slew of products under the greek based yogurt. These include the smoothies, misthi doi, snack pack and artisanal curd. The said brand has 10,000 touch points and the company is targetting to reach with its 50,000 outlets in the coming times. Recently, we have seen different stars investing and even becoming the part of the brand endorsement including Sara Ali Khan and Suniel Shetty and others.
