As Sanjay Leela Bhansali gears up for his next magnum opus called Padmavati, the film has already hit the floor and it has been the 20th day of the film shoot. The film happens to be a period drama, while it has Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and others are roped in the film. Except Shahid everyone was on the toes as he was taking a break post maternity phase of her life.
Now when we see Shahid Kapoor returning from his holiday with his cute little daughter Misha and his wife Meera, he seemed to have resume work after taking a long break considering his wife delivery and post maternity things.
In fact, the Haider actor himself announced about his engagements over the microblogging site – Twitter sharing his picture over the same, while the director Mr. SLB was quick to update about the same announcing Shahid’s joining the 1st day while also informing that the leggy lass Deepika Padukone has already completed her 9 days here at the shoot.
Talking about Ranveer Singh in the film, the Bajirao Mastani actor is playing the character called Alauddin Khilji who is the medieval era Delhi based Sultan who is known to have enamored of Padmavati, which is played by Deepika Padukone. The film Padmavati is a period drama which will hit the theatres next year.
