Cult Aussie Web Series ‘Rostered On’ Set for Its TV Debut Tonight

Even if you are amongst those who would wish to watch a show on people working in the retail sector, but Rostered On is definitely going to surprise you with the one which is worth the trouble. Cult Australian web series Rostered On is today making its official jump from streaming to broadcast TV in just a few short hours, along with its second season premiere which is set to air on 7Mate this evening.

The show’s first season was shot on a shoestring budget, but was well racked up with viewers attention on YouTube this is why eventually found it found its way to feature on Netflix, before Channel Seven jumped on board to take over  the season two streaming ; becoming the first narrative comedy series to be commissioned by 7Mate in the process.

The story of the series follows the fictitious electrical store ElectroWorld, and skewers – or, in some cases, portrays verbatim and their hellish nightmares in the world of working in retail. It throws light on various stream of retail  right from the asshole customers to shitheaded managers to the dickhead co-workers running around with God complexes who treat selling basic-ass InkJet printers as if they were brokering peace in the Middle East.

One of recognizable face of the series is Nick Boshier, along with Christiaan Van Vuuren who will be making a guest appearance in season two, as does the Australian comedy cornerstone Bob Franklin.

Viewers can cop the season two premiere of Rostered On on 7Mate, tonight at 9pm.
