Anushka Sharma to get in the lady cop avatar for her next film after Priyanka and Rani

Containing a hard-hitting story, her next upcoming film will be presenting Anushka playing the character of a lady cop.

The actress was last seen in Zero, back in December 2018 and Anushka Sharma is yet to officially sign her next project. Currently, the actress is known to busy cheering for her beloved hubby Virat Kohli, who is leading the Indian cricket team at the ongoing World Cup.

As per the suggested reports, the talented actress has zeroed in on her next project — which is going to be a cop drama. Sourced to be a gritty film with a hard-hitting subject based film, it is also reported that Anushka will be seen in a completely different look for this film. It has also been reported that the actress is currently scanning through unique scripts that will challenge her skills and get indulged in a different role this time. It seems, this new film project will have a lot of challenge for her in the role of a cop about which the actress seems pretty excited. This is definitely going to be Anushka’s first time that she will be seen in the role of a police officer. However, there is no confirmation about when the film will go on floors but, the actress is said to be looking forward to her returning to the sets as it has been long since her last film, Zero.

The script  for the film is currently being fine-tuned which is definitely expected to be pretty engaging. This is why we know what makes Anushka interested to get back to her  projects with such content. It is being mentioned that Anushka will have to undergo a lot of rigorous training to justify the character, she has to play as a cop.
