The B Today had two films in its kitty to release when we talk about the last Friday. This certainly includes Commando 3 the one-man army movie with Vidyut Jammwal playing the key role in it. The film had mixed reviews for the action and thrill one could see in the movie. However, the first-day box office collection remained low at the box office as the film was not able to create the good mouth of word buzz in the media. However, it turned up on the first weekend to give a decent collection at the box office.

As per reports, the film released in around 2541 screens in India along with 283 screens all across the world. The film scored 4.74 Cr and 5.64 Cr respectively on the box office, while the third day it scored a time high getting 8.25 Crores. With this, the 1st-weekend box office collection for Commando 3 tolled to around 18.63 Crores, which is still a decent figure to celebrate. However, the makers were eyeing to get a higher collection on the first weekend.

But with clash with the Dev Patel and Anupam Kher starrer movie sizzlingel Mumbai, the film gained did face some amount of competition at the box office. the film happens to be the third installment of the known franchise and somewhere it has done better business than the previous two series of the film with Commando (part 1) getting Rs 11.18 crore, whereas, Commando (part 2) getting Rs 15.75 crore. As per reports, the film has witnessed a decent footfall in regions like Gujarat, Rajasthan and Bihar on the third day.
