Sidharth Malhotra began working on Rohit Shetty’s Amazon web show in cop drama

According to the latest media reports, Sidharth has partnered with Rohit Shetty for the first time. The actor-director is working on an intriguing cop drama for the OTT platform. As per the reports, while fans have been anticipating Sidharth’s OTT debut, the actor will begin filming for the project tomorrow (March 10).
According to the reports, the production team has sealed a part of the Golden Tobacco factory in Vile Parle for the shoot. Meanwhile, Rohit Shetty, who has been working on his OTT debut for some time, wants his cop drama to represent his unique approach. The online series, which will be directed by newbie director Sushwanth Prakash and shot across Mumbai, would be interesting to see.
Talking about the project a source was quoted as saying, “After the release of Sooryavanshi [2021], Rohit and his team have been working relentlessly on the script. Considering the OTT universe is filled with cop dramas, he wanted his signature style to reflect in the cop caper. As the showrunner, he wants to present the series in a way that appeals to a global audience”.
Meanwhile, Rohit is collaborating with Ranveer Singh on Cirkus. The film is a comedy-drama in which Pooja Hegde and Varun Sharma play pivotal parts.
