Chupke Chupke remake will have Rajkummar Rao in Dharmendra’s role

The 44-year-old classic Chupke Chupke starring Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, and Sharmila Tagore has been in news ever since the news about its remake was announced in the media. As per reports, it will be produced by Bhushan Kumar, while the direction for the remake would be carried out by Luv Ranjan. Now, the latest buzz suggests that Rajkummar Rao would be given the role of Dharmendra in it. Rajkummar who is known to play some unconventional role in the best way is back in the news.

As per a leading news portal, the Newton actor would be playing this role, and he has also confirmed the same. Thanks to his love for the film Chupke Chupke, he readily agreed when the film was offered to the actor. He now seems to be excited about doing this film, which eventually has made his fans also keen on this project. He has gained a good round of applauds for his films like Stree, Newton, Bareilly Ki Barfi and Shaadi Me Zaroor Aana.

Well, it seems that the B Town now is caught in a new craze of getting the remake of old movies. We have seen films like Judwa 2, also David Dhawan has announced another remake with the 1995 cult comedy film Coolie No. 1 having Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan in it. We will be hearing more about the film on April 24th as it happens to be the birthday of Varun Dhawan. And now we hear the cult classic comedy Chupke Chupke making headlines for getting its remake in the media.
