Ayesha Raza is an actress seen in movies and web series. She hails from Delhi where she was born and brought up at. She did her schooling and college from Delhi. Since her school and college days, she was inclined towards acting and soon got engaged in theatres. She also did a course in acting from the Dramatic Art and Design Academy in New Delhi. The veterans like Amal and Nissar Allana helped her to learn and hone the skills. Her mother also is an actress and continued working till date.
Talking about her career, she did her debut with physical theatre known as The Mahabharata Project, which was directed by Zuleikha Chaudri. The play was specially conceived for the known event called Prague Quadrennial 2003. She then traveled with the playgroup to different nations to screen international theatre festivals. She then headed to Mumbai and start working with the Industrial Theatre Company. She soon was seen in the Pushan Kriplani called CLOGGED ARTERIES along with other plays including URSULA, ALL THE WORLD’S A SHARE A CAB and BLACKBIRD, which was directed by Rehaan Engineer along with FIREFACE by Pushan Kriplani.
She is also a voice artist apart from being an actress. She is also involved in Hindi and Urdu theatres and was seen in a number of such plays apart from the English theatre. Besides, she has done a number of films as well in B Town, which includes Dil Dadakne Do, Befikre, and Toilet Ek Prem Katha. Besides, she was also seen in small screen Babbar Ka Tabbar along with web series including Love Per Square Foot and Baang Baaja Baarat. Talking about her personal life, she is married to film actor Kumud Mishra.
