The year 2018 had an infamous campaign run in B Town on the social media called the #MeToo movement. It brings many filmmakers and Bollywood celebs along with others questionable about their character and the way they have dealt with the ladies while working with them. It brought many names in B Town who had to lose their work for their sexual misconduct and improper behaviour in the B Town.
Talking about the same, the known actress Chitrangda Singh has said that this is a hard reality of the world as it does exist in the industry. However, she adds that no one can force anyone to do so. She said that such people exist in every world and have seen such souls since her modeling days and even in B Town. She also alleged the Corporate world to be as bad as any other industry where such issues do come out in the media.
When asked if she was also approached for the same, she said that in Bollywood no one can force you although she has come across such things but she had kept herself away from such things. She said one has to lose opportunities for such things coming in their way but she then adds that’s the price one has to pay for the choices. She said that she felt bad losing projects but that was her choice. She concluded saying that one can make the choice of his or her whims and fancies. She made her debut with the film Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi in 2003 and has worked in films like Yeh Saali Zindagi, Inkaar, Desi Boyz, and Baazaar.
