As the lockdown continues, we see the films getting pushed ahead of its release. These certainly include the film Chhalaang with stars like Nushrat Bharucha and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles coming for the first time on the silver screen. Nushrat has been a popular diva in B Town and she made her debut in the movie Jai Santoshi Maa. She has been in the B Town for more than 14 years and gave some hits apart from a few flop films in the B Town.
Talking about the film, it happens to be a black-comedy, which has some elements of romance in it. As per reports, the film is made at the backdrop of a remote small town in Uttar Pradesh, while it revolves around the struggle of trying to make things big in the area of sports. While the actor Rajkummar plays the PT teacher role in it called Montu who works in a semi-government school based in Haryana, while the actress Nushrat plays his love interest in the movie.
Talking about the release date, the film was supposed to hit the screens on 12th June, but with the current lockdown and tough time ahead, the makers have pushed the film by three months now. The film is produced by Luv Ranjan, Ajay Devgn and Ankur Garg. It was Ajay Devgn who has shared about the film the first on his social media handle. He shared one of the stills from the film with Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha.
