Big B to Miss National Film Awards ceremony due to his bad health
We have been hearing about Big B’s health conditions, which seems to be going bad to worse. His doctors have warned him strictly to avoid films and take complete rest. Despite all the warning and plea, the actor seemed to have been busy with his next film Chehre and other ventures. However, now we hear that the actor is taking rest at home and want to keep away from all the things that are coming in his way. This certainly includes the award function coming in its way.
The National Film Awards is all set to take place this Monday today and it will honor Big B with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. However, the megastar has apologized saying that he would be missing out on the awards ceremony to be held in New Delhi due to his bad health. He tweeted informing about the same saying that he is down with fever and it not allowing him to travel. Thus he said he will not be able to catch the National Award to be held tomorrow in Delhi.
It is so unfortunate he said he is missing the opportunity and he then regretted saying so. The award function is going to be organised soon in New Delhi and the VP of India Mr.Venkaiah Naidu would be honoring the same. Technically speaking, this award is often given by the President of India but with this time things have changed and Ram Nath Kovind, the president would be hosting a high tea for the winners. It was Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting who informed about Big B bagging the award, and will be attending the ceremony.
