Popular TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmaha’s actor Dilip Joshi’s daughter Niyati tied the knot with Yashovardhan Mishra on 11th December 2021. The wedding took place at the grand Taj Hotel in Mumbai. The marriage became the talk of the town for a reason. Especially as the bride sported her natural grey hair for the wedding. Niyati Joshi’s hairstylist and makeup artist shared some videos and photos of the bride getting ready for the wedding function.
Dilip Joshi’s daughter wore a silk yellow suit with a traditional magenta ‘bandhani’ (tie and dye) dupatta. She kept the look simple with subtle makeup, nude lipstick, straightened grey hair and a bindi to add to the beauty. Niyati is a trendsetter. In an age of camouflage, Niyati kept it real.
Talking about Niyati’s flaunting grey hair, Dilip Joshi had told BT, “Keeping her grey hair as it is at her wedding was never an issue for us. We didn’t even imagine that people would react like this. It was never a point of discussion in our house. Jo jaisa hai woh waisa hi theek hai. Everyone reacted in such a positive way and I was happy to see that she has inspired others. I think this is how we should be; we present ourselves the way we are rather than putting on a mask.”
Dilip Joshi’s daughter Niyati always stayed away from the limelight and to see her trend on social media so the bride and the family get shocked. Dilip said on this “She likes to keep a low profile. But social media is something that we can’t control. Anyway, it was a positive thing and we were fine with it. If this is something that has inspired people, then that’s great,” he added.
