Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan gets mixed response; some fans expressed their disappointment on Twitter

Salman Khan’s most awaited action-entertainer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ is finally here. The film hit the theatres today and fans are super excited to see their favourite star on the big screen after years.

As ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan hit the theatres today and early reviews of the film have started to pour in on Twitter, it seems it has got a mixed reaction from the fans.

Some fans praised the film and Salman Khan’s action sequences on Twitter.

There were also few fans who didn’t enjoy the film as much as they had hoped initially.

There was one fan who also showed the video of an empty theatre.

The ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’s trailer was released on 10 April, 2023, and the response was massive. The grand trailer launch took place in Mumbai and received an overwhelming reception from fans with more than 43 million views within 10 days. Hence there was already a high expectations from the film. Based on this mixed reception from the audience, the Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’s first day box office collection is expected to be between Rs. 20 and 22 crores.

Salman Khan’s most recent big-screen performance as a key lead was in Ali Abbas Zafar’s 2019 patriotic drama ‘Bharat,’ in which he co-starred with Katrina Kaif. That film earned a total of Rs 325 crore globally. It’s too early to tell whether Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will outperform Bharat at the box office.

Helmed by Farhad Samji, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ also stars Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, and Vinali Bhatnagar.

The film is an official remake of 2014 Tamil film Veeram starring Ajith Kumar in the lead. Veeram received positive reviews from both audiences and critics alike and was also a huge box office hit. Interestingly Veeram was also later remade in Telugu as ‘Katamarayudu’ (2017) and Kannada as ‘Odeya’ (2019), but both films underperformed at the box office.
