Bob Biswas makers Prompt Action Helped their film to avoid legal issues

As Junior Bachchan started his film Bob Biswas’ shooting from 24th Jan, it was going smooth on the streets of Kolkata. However, with a few days of its passage, we saw the film was drawn in a legal issue for violating some environmental norms. As per reports, the makers were quick to act on time and thus avert the issue. They were seen setting up a committee that fixed things by complying quickly with the norms of the National Green Tribunal (NGT).

The crew and cast were busy working for 12 hours a day till Feb 9 when they had to wrap up the shoot. They were quick to hire a team to clean up the location which was left otherwise after their shooting. They also offered tiffin services to the unit so that the unit can avoid cooking on location. They even asked the team not to use plastic on their floor. After the end of their first ten-day shoot schedule, they moved to Gold Green Phase 4 for their next shooting schedule.

Junior Bachchan did a scene at Dalhousie Square. While they were busy shooting at Rabindra Sarobar in the city, they continued without even caring about the norms set by the National Green Tribunal. Soon they faced backlash for the same for cooking inside and using plastics in the area. Soon Sujoy Ghosh the director and producer of the film were quick to act on time to avoid any further clash with the local people and from the body avoiding the delay in the shoot. SRK is also one of the producers of the film, while Sujoy is also the co-producer apart from being a director and scriptwriter of the same.
