After Fan’s debacle, the Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie Raees got in trouble as the makers of the film pushed the release date from Eid 2016 to Republic Day 2017. The action thriller Raees which is directed by Rahul Dholakia and is produced by SRK & Ritesh Sidhwani along with Farhan Akhtar seems to be in trouble with the fresh warning coming from the goon’s party MNS.
The movie has been in a constant scanner for a number of reasons including the clashing of Hrithik Roshan’s next film Kaabil and for having a Pakistani based actress Mahira Khan in it who marks her debut in Bollywood. Both the movies are likely to hit on 26th January 2017.
But if you check the insiders, they claim that SRK along with the Rees maker is likely to push the release date a bit further just to avoid the clash and settle down the issue of Mahira Khan in it. The makers are still moving ahead with their film having the presence of Mahira Khan in it despite the opposition by the fanatic group called MNS.
Currently Shah Rukh Khan is in Amsterdam shooting for his next film called The Ring with Anushka Sharma, however, with the opposition coming from MNS, the makers are likely to push the date of release to avoid losses. Also, they cannot afford the movie that is to be boycotted to avoid the losses. Hence, Shah Rukh Khan will avoid taking the risk claims the sources.
