The last time we heard about this film was when Irrfan Khan tweeted about it during his stay in the UK while getting the treatment for the rare brain tumor he has. He was seen congratulating his fellow actors in the film in which he has remained the part of the movie. The film happens to have a low buzz since it is a film with interesting story but with low star power. So amidst such a buzz, the makers have now released the trailer of the same. We see the makers releasing the trailer on the web without going the conventional way of doing amidst huge fuss in the media. But as the trailer was released in the media, it started getting good buzz for the strong content and good performances especially from Irrfan Khan.
The trailer of the film Karwaan starring Irrfan Khan is now winning hearts thanks to its unusual storyline. As you check the trailer, you find a young man called Avinash played by Dulquer Salmaan who while on at work was seen getting a phone call informing him that his father has simply passed away, and the dead body is now supposed to be sent out him soon. He is then seen becoming the friend with a man known as Shaukat, played by Irrfan who is seen helping him collect his father’s dead body. However, when he receives the coffin he finds out the dead body of an old lady and not his father. So when he finally inquires about the same he is informed that he has to now visit Kochi for his father’s body.
So, when he is seen taking a journey to Kochi, the young man gets another call that his girl is missing from her mother, who now wants to help her. The girl called Tanya as played by Mithila Palkar in fact has been missing since her college days. So, while Avinash and Shaukat are on their way to check the missing dead body of their father, the two also take another journey to find the girl. So the film is all about their journey to find out the girl and his father. This makes it an interesting film to catch.
