It was a busy Friday this passing week as we got a couple of films releasing in the B Town. One of the films releasing this passing Friday was the Neil Nitin Mukesh starrer suspense thriller called Bypass Road. The film bagged the mixed reviews from all the critics along with the audience. Hence the collection went that ways, also, the promotions of the film went on the lower that also affected the collection in many ways.
Well, let’s start how things went this weekend at the box office for Bypass Road. The film had a very bad start with the collection at the box office on the first day went to around 50 lakhs and similarly, the second-day collection for the movie on the second day went to around 55 lakhs and so was the collection on Sunday as well. So, with all these figures, the 1st-weekend box office collection for Bypass Road was not less than 1.55 Crores at the box office.
The weekdays would have an impact on the meager collection and it would move ahead with similar figures for the rest of the days as well. Unfortunately, the film had to suffer for many things, right from the ratings, to the star value and the promotions of the movie in the media. The last and the most important element was the stiff competition it faced from the other film – Bala. This really made the film go down at the box office.
