‘Butter’ song of BTS exceeds 800M views, becomes 8th video in their most-viewed list
Butter song of BTS, which is their 2021 super hit track has surpassed 800 million YouTube views. According to Yonhap, it has now become the 8th video of the K-pop group to do so. We all know even Bollywood is its big fan, including the actress Alia Bhatt.
As per the team’s agency Big Hit Music, the video surpassed the 800 million mark around 15 months after it was put online on May 21, last year.
When it was launched, the vibrant summer tune became a global smash. It spent 10 weeks on Billboard’s Hot 100 main singles list.
This Butter song of BTS gained 108.2 million views within the first 24 hours of its launch. This made it the highest first-day view count ever on YouTube.
On October 15, the seven-piece band will deliver a one-day performance in Busan, 325 kilometres southeast of Seoul. Their aim is to boost the port city’s quest to organize the World Expo in 2030.
