It’s no more Athithii In London, it’s now Guest Iin London. Okay, we understood why they want to make the title completely English, but won’t that make people not relate to the movie as a sequel to the original, Athithi, Tum Kab Jaoge?. Also why is it ‘Iin’? Why are you screwing up English language in the name of numerology? Screwing up English when it comes to the titles is an old past-time of Bollywood, so let’s get over that and talk about the new poster that has come up for the movie.
The poster has Kartik Aaryan (Pyaar Ka Punchnama 1 & 2) and Kriti Kharbanda (Raaz Reboot), who play a married couple in the movie trying to push out Paresh Rawal (Oh My God, Sardar) and Tanvi Azmi (Darr, Bajirao Mastani), an older married couple and unwanted guests here, who have just torn out of a cardboard box. Just to make sure the movie lives up to the title and justifies the location, there is also Big Ben in the background.
Paresh Rawal is the only common fact in both the unwanted guest franchise, wherein the first movie, he torments Ajay Devgn and Konkona Sen Sharma with his innocuous way of living. Here he has taken his ‘reign of terror’ on international waters, and he has company in the ever graceful Tanvi Azmi. Going by the happenings of the first movie, Kartik and Kriti are gonna have a really rocky time ahead. And London as well. God Save the Queen! While you are here, watch the motion poster as well!
