The maiden Hollywood flick by Vidhu Vinod Chopra called Broken Horses simply seen breaking away in terms of collection. After getting applauds from the Hollywood veterans, the film simply failed to do better over the Indian Box Office. Perhaps the director failed to promote the film back into its own country as he was busy doing so overseas at the main of Hollywood Cinema. The director who is a popular filmmaker in India failed to get the response from his own country. The collection on its first day was around 0.7 crores following by similar figures in the coming two days.
Hence Broken Horses first weekend box office report tolled to around 2.13 crores, which is not the amount, which Vidhu Vinodh Chopra must be expecting the Indian crown, when it is the same audience who gave his previous movie PK a huge collection taking the collection closer to 350 crores. Another reason why the film failed to garner good response since the movie was based on his own old Bollywood movie called Parinda, which was a tale of two brothers. The other release Leela Ek Paheli bagged the show with 16 crores in its first weekend.
