Border 2 Song ‘Sandese Aate Hain’ to Release on January 2 at Longewala with BSF: Report

The iconic patriotic song ‘Sandese Aate Hain’ is set to make a heartfelt return ahead of Border 2. The recreated version will be officially released on January 2 at Longewala, accompanied by events at Tanot Mata Mandir and Babliyan, in the presence of the Border Security Force (BSF). The promotional video for the track is expected to drop soon, likely on December 27 or 28.

Launching the song at Longewala holds deep emotional and historical significance, as the location is closely tied to the real-life events that inspired the original Border (1997). The collaboration with the BSF further emphasizes the film’s tribute to India’s armed forces. Hosting the launch at Tanot Mata Mandir and Babliyan adds a strong patriotic resonance, reinforcing themes of sacrifice, duty, and remembrance.

According to the censor certificate, the recreated track has been retitled ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’. It runs for three minutes and 23 seconds and has been cleared without any edits. While the melody preserves the emotional core of the original, the new title hints at a fresh narrative focus on the emotional toll endured by soldiers and their families.The original ‘Sandese Aate Hain’ is a landmark song in Hindi cinema, capturing the longing, pain, and resilience of soldiers away from home. Its legacy as a symbol of patriotism and heartfelt storytelling sets high expectations for the new version, which the makers position as a key emotional element of the sequel.
