Bollywood actors who could play the role of a cop Ajay S Rathore in Sarfarosh instead of Aamir Khan

The Aamir Khan starrer movie Sarfarosh was released in 1999 and as per the latest buzz, we hear that the makers are now planning to make its sequel. The film was directed by John Matthew Matthan and it was a big hit at that time with Aamir Khan’s character was appreciated a lot. Now, talking about the sequel of Sarfarosh, the star cast is yet to be decided, but there are reports that John Abraham has been approached by the makers for the role of Aamir Khan. The actor is currently busy shooting for his film Raw and soon after completing this film, he would shoot for the other film. Earlier while deciding for this role in the prequel the makers were apprehensive whether Aamir would perform this tough character as his image was of a young chocolate hero.

But the way Aamir Khan played this character simply made his critics tongue tied and the bosses of Sarfarosh happy. The female lead was played by the actress Sonali Bendre and it is impossible to cast her at the moment as she is undergoing her treatment for the metastatic cancer in the US. Besides the lady and Aamir Khan, the others to play in this film important roles in the prequel include Nasiruddin Shah and Mukesh Rishi. The film was also known for its good songs and music. Now, talking about the sequel, the film would have the same director – John Matthew Matthan with obviously the same production house – Cinematt Pictures, which is again the production house of the director itself.

He is currently busy in writing the script, and like the previous, the sequel again will be based on the Naxals and Maoists. All these information about the film has been shared by Ramesh Bala who has an important role in the previous and this film.
